Take Your Dog to Lunch

  • Taking your dog to an outdoor restaurant can be a pleasure or a daunting challenge. It is easy for dogs to act out in many ways and develop bad habits when put in environments for which they are unprepared. Just as service dogs must have exceptional public access skills and manners, your dog should be prepared to behave in certain ways when in public places. Believe it or not, you really have to do training for this kind of activity.

The goal of this  class is to introduce you to some public access skills for your dog and make sure that your outings to restaurants and other public places are without unpleasant and embarrassing incidents caused by your canine friend.

Class Details: This class is designed to teach you and your dogs a specific skill set. It was inspired by the many unpleasant incidents we, as trainers, hear about when people take their dogs to places where they can be under-the-table snipers.
Fee: $75 per dog. Extra handlers are always welcome.
Prerequisites: Dogs should have basic obedience training and be tolerant of people and other dogs. This is not a good class for reactive or fearful dogs.
Dog Details: Dogs 6 months and over. Dogs must be have up to date vaccinations and have a current Rabies tag.
Day Time Date Class No. Instructor Registration
