About

Hi, I’m Chickpea!

I’m an adorable (though undersocialized) kitty that you can’t help but go garbanzo for! Because I am undersocialized for my age, I’ll need some extra TLC, and I’ll thrive best in a home with an experienced owner who can help guide me out of my shell! I’ll also do best in a quiet home without young kids! As I get acclimated to my new environment, with a good dose of patience, I hope to be a well-adjusted (and active!) adolescent who will enjoy engaging in fun & games and sharing my adoring love for a lifetime!

You can meet us in person Saturday and Sunday, 11am- 4pm!

Please note that we will not be accepting online applications, but rather asking that you fill one out in person (on a first come, first served basis). Thank you!

The Berkeley Humane difference!

Our adoption package includes vaccines, microchip, spay or neuter, flea/tick preventative, worm treatment, and felv/fiv testing for cats (at the discretion of the veterinarian). We also provide $250 worth of medical care with VCA Animal Hospitals, discounts and/or free first welcome visits at other local veterinary hospitals and optional discounted pet insurance.

Be 18 years of age or older
Have valid state-issued identification
Allowed to have a pet where you live. To protect you and your pet, get your landlord's or HOA's permission in writing before you adopt
Willing and able to provide training, medical attention, and proper care for your new pet.
