Hi, I’m Beede!

I’m a major league doggie with stats that can’t be beat! I’m a super sweet, active, and happy boy that would make a wonderful companion in the right home. I love to go on walks and get exercise, and I love to play with toys, too! I have a lot of amazing traits, but I will need some continued training that will be best suited for an adult only home that has prior large dog experience.

We strongly recommend the use of reward based (positive reinforcement) training for all dogs, and this is particularly important for dogs like Beede. His long-term success is dependent on his trust and love of people and the positive associations he builds with other dogs.

Our adoption package includes vaccines, microchip, spay or neuter, flea/tick preventative, worm treatment, and heartworm preventative for dogs (at the discretion of the veterinarian). We also provide $250 worth of medical care with VCA Animal Hospitals, discounts and/or free first welcome visits at other local veterinary hospitals and optional discounted pet insurance.

All adopters receive a 30% discount off their first training class from Train the Bay. Berkeley Humane’s dog training program Train the Bay has been improving the lives of pets and their people for over 30 years and is one of the most trusted dog training programs in the Bay Area.

Be 18 years of age or older
Have valid state-issued identification
Allowed to have a pet where you live. To protect you and your pet, get your landlord's or HOA's permission in writing before you adopt
Willing and able to provide training, medical attention, and proper care for your new pet.
