About

Hi, I’m Ducky!

I am a sweet and smart boy that would be a lovable buddy to the right person!  I enjoy walks and throwing around my toys, I don’t mind hanging solo if you have work, but I’m always up for pets and lounging with my person. I am affectionate,  I’ll be sure to give you cuddles when the mood strikes.  I could use some confidence building, so I will need an adopter that has previous dog experience and no other animals in the home.

A note from my Foster: Ducky is a big boy with a big heart! He is already having lots of fun with us. He’s a very sweet, mellow, reserved man, until he gets his mouth on a stuffy or squeaky toy that is!! Then his energetic and playful side comes out (and they toy may not live through the experience). He likes to go on long walks (not just at sunset) with lots of stops so he can sniff every leaf around. He also likes be involved in whatever you are doing around the house, but he is happy to nap in the sunshine on his blanket if you are doing something quiet. He’s a sucker for a nice chin scratch, and any sort of food or treat. He’s also working on learning some tricks with his big brain, and already knows sit, shake, and stay!

**I am eligible for trial adoption!
