Hi, I’m Kekoa!

I am a sweet boy that came all the way from Hawaii to Berkeley Humane to find my special home! I am still trying to live up to my name and find my bravery when navigating new places and people. Although timid at first, I have gradually become more and more confident in my foster home! Love and patience is key, as it allows me to feel safe and show you how affectionate and cuddly I can be! It is best that I go to a quiet home with adopters that have previous dog experience so I am set up for success!

The Berkeley Humane difference!

Our adoption package includes vaccines, microchip, spay or neuter, flea/tick preventative, worm treatment, and heartworm preventative for dogs (at the discretion of the veterinarian). We also provide $250 worth of medical care with VCA Animal Hospitals, discounts and/or free first welcome visits at other local veterinary hospitals and optional discounted pet insurance.

All adopters receive a 30% discount off their first training class from Train the Bay. Berkeley Humane’s dog training program Train the Bay has been improving the lives of pets and their people for over 30 years and is one of the most trusted dog training programs in the Bay Area.

Be 18 years of age or older
Have valid state-issued identification
Allowed to have a pet where you live. To protect you and your pet, get your landlord's or HOA's permission in writing before you adopt
Willing and able to provide training, medical attention, and proper care for your new pet.
