About

Hello, I’m Marina!

Are you looking for a small, sweet, special dog in one tidy (and adorable) package? Look no further – it’s me!  I’m a very shy girl that needs a quiet home with 1-2 adults that will show me lots of TLC and patience.  I am starting to understand what a loving home means and it’s building my confidence day by day!

Here’s a Note From my Foster:  I’ve seen progress every day, which makes me really happy! She has a little corner set up with her ex-pen, which I generally leave mostly open to my apartment so she has her space but she also has freedom to move. On Monday night, she followed me into the kitchen for the first time, and has done that a couple times since then. Over the past couple days, she has been less surprised/scared by any noises in the apartment, and has been shaking a lot less as well. She was able to eat every single meal so far (I’ve done wet food for right now because she didn’t eat any dry food the first night). This morning for the first time she came up to me and brushed her head against my hand, and ended up letting me pet her and even licked me! She got a little overwhelmed afterwards and ended up retreating again, but she seemed happy to be getting some pets. I think she is a really sweet girl who takes a while to warm up and trust people, but earning that trust is so worthwhile because she is an amazing dog with so much love to give.
