About the Class
CGCU or Urban Canine Good Citizen, is the most challenging of the series. Testing is conducted in a busy, congested city setting. It is a test of practical behaviors used in negotiating dog friendly buildings, crowds on urban sidewalks, exposure to city noises (horns, sirens, construction) and surfaces (concrete plastic, tiles, asphalt) as well as moving objects such as trains, skateboards, bikes and carts.
