About
Hello, I’m Gobbles!
I’m here to steal your heart faster than you can say “Thanksgiving dinner!” My name suits me perfectly because I’m all about indulging in life’s little joys – treats, snuggles, and cozy nap spots are my favorite “courses.” And I sure do have something to be thankful for! I had a terrible tail injury that needed immediate surgery, but now I am healthy and happy and I have a cute stubby tail that I manage with just fine! But because of this, it is safest for me to be an indoor cat for life. Otherwise I am an adorable fit for any mostly calm home!
When you adopt me, please keep me indoors-only. Not only will I have a longer life, but I will be healthier and safe from the many dangers the great outdoors can pose to a curious kitty like me. I could be lost or stolen and experience things like overexposure to direct sunlight, natural predators like coyotes, and vehicles which can all be hazards to my health.

The Berkeley Humane difference!
Every animal in our care receives medical and behavior evaluations, vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter surgery, flea, tick and worm treatments, felv/fiv test for cats at the discretion of our veterinarian, or heartworm preventative for dogs.
Our adoption package includes a temporary leash or carrier, $250 worth of medical care with VCA Animal Hospitals, 30 days of immediate pet insurance coverage (upon activation–no card required), and a 30% discount on dog training classes through our program Train the Bay.

- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have valid state-issued identification
- Allowed to have a pet where you live. To protect you and your pet, get your landlord's or HOA's permission in writing before you adopt
- Willing and able to provide training, medical attention, and proper care for your new pet.
