Braveheart

Hi, I’m Braveheart! But my friends call me Brave.

I’m an older pup with a big heart and a story that proves I don’t quit easily.

Not long ago, my leg needed multiple surgeries to help me move the way I was meant to. Recovery wasn’t easy, there were tough days, slow walks, and moments when I had to dig deep and be braver than I felt. But that’s kind of my thing. I’m resilient, a little feisty when life gets hard, and always ready to try again. My body might have been through a lot, but my spirit never gave up.

I’m a half French Bulldog, half Dachshund mix (DNA test confirmed!), which means I’m compact, expressive, and full of personality! I love people, I love attention, and I love finding the bright side of every day. My tail wags for cuddles, kind voices, and the promise of a soft place to land. I’ve done the hard part. I’ve healed, I’ve fought, and I’ve kept my light shining. Now I’m ready for my next chapter! One with a happy home, a warm couch, and someone who sees me not for what I’ve been through, but for the loving, joyful dog I am becoming.
