Hello, I’m Big Max!
I will first be available to the public on Saturday 10/26 at our aPAWcalypse event at Berkeley Humane from 10a-2p. Adoption fees are WAIVED for this event only! It is first come, first served and applications are to be filled out in person.
I’m a handsome pup filled with big love and ready to joyfully take it to the max with you! I’m an active boy full of fun, affection, and playful Halloween mischief, so exciting walks in the neighborhood or park, play dates, engaging toys are all tops for me! Add in fun puppy training classes and let me bow-wow you with my sweet love!
Puppies are a lot of work! I will require potty walks every couple of hours throughout the day, lots of patience and enrichment. Please make sure you can accommodate all my needs before coming to meet me!

The Berkeley Humane difference!
Every animal in our care receives medical and behavior evaluations, vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter surgery, flea, tick and worm treatments, felv/fiv test for cats at the discretion of our veterinarian, or heartworm preventative for dogs.
Our adoption package includes a temporary leash or carrier, $250 worth of medical care with VCA Animal Hospitals, 30 days of immediate pet insurance coverage (upon activation–no card required), and a 30% discount on dog training classes through our program Train the Bay.

- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have valid state-issued identification
- Allowed to have a pet where you live. To protect you and your pet, get your landlord's or HOA's permission in writing before you adopt
- Willing and able to provide training, medical attention, and proper care for your new pet.
