Hi, I’m Diamond!

My story started in a crowded house with lots of other dogs, and life there was a bit overwhelming. But you know what? I didn’t let that dull my sparkle! These days I’m discovering just how nice the world can be, and I greet it with a wagging tail and a friendly hello to everyone I meet. Even though I’m small, my love is anything but tiny. I’m the kind of dog who wants to be close to my people, soaking up pets, giving sweet looks, and reminding you every day how special it is to have a loyal companion by your side. I’m gentle, affectionate, and always happy to make a new friend. Now I’m ready for the best chapter yet, a home where I can shine, share my big heart, and be someone’s treasured little Diamond!

The Berkeley Humane difference!

Every animal in our care receives medical and behavior evaluations, vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter surgery, flea, tick and worm treatments, felv/fiv test for cats at the discretion of our veterinarian, or heartworm preventative for dogs.

Our adoption package includes a temporary leash or carrier, $250 worth of medical care with VCA Animal Hospitals, 30 days of immediate pet insurance coverage (upon activation–no card required), and a 30% discount on dog training classes through our program Train the Bay.

Be 18 years of age or older
Have valid state-issued identification
Allowed to have a pet where you live. To protect you and your pet, get your landlord's or HOA's permission in writing before you adopt
Willing and able to provide training, medical attention, and proper care for your new pet.
