Hi there, I’m Elikai!

I’m an sweet lady who has just hula’d in from the Big Island of Hawaii to share my everlasting tropical joy with you! I‘m still acclimating to my new busy environment and so getting out and exploring will need to happen at my pace. Once I do shake off my nerves, happy walks in the park and making new friends sound great to me! A home that is somewhat calm and without young kids will be best, that way I can have lots of happy experiences and come out of my shell in no time!

The Berkeley Humane difference!

Our adoption package includes vaccines, microchip, spay or neuter, flea/tick preventative, worm treatment, and heartworm preventative for dogs (at the discretion of the veterinarian). We also provide $250 worth of medical care with VCA Animal Hospitals, discounts and/or free first welcome visits at other local veterinary hospitals and optional discounted pet insurance.

All adopters receive a 30% discount off their first training class from Train the Bay. Berkeley Humane’s dog training program Train the Bay has been improving the lives of pets and their people for over 30 years and is one of the most trusted dog training programs in the Bay Area.

Have valid state-issued identification
Allowed to have a pet where you live. To protect you and your pet, get your landlord's or HOA's permission in writing before you adopt
Willing and able to provide training, medical attention, and proper care for your new pet.
