Hi, I’m Rick!

I’m an amiable little guy who enjoys having mellow fun and gentle adventures with my person! That could include nice romps in the park, walks in the neighborhood, and maybe making new friends with other little guys (and gals) like me! Of course, I enjoy my snuggle time just as much, so curling up with you while we relax on the couch and catch up on the latest Netflix sounds perfect! Some sweet pets and belly rubs and I’ll share my love and affection right back! Please know I’ll thrive best in a quiet household.

The Berkeley Humane difference!

Our adoption package includes vaccines, microchip, spay or neuter, flea/tick preventative, worm treatment, and heartworm preventative for dogs (at the discretion of the veterinarian). We also provide $250 worth of medical care with VCA Animal Hospitals, discounts and/or free first welcome visits at other local veterinary hospitals and optional discounted pet insurance.

All adopters receive a 30% discount off their first training class from Train the Bay. Berkeley Humane’s dog training program Train the Bay has been improving the lives of pets and their people for over 30 years and is one of the most trusted dog training programs in the Bay Area.

Be 18 years of age or older
Have valid state-issued identification
Allowed to have a pet where you live. To protect you and your pet, get your landlord's or HOA's permission in writing before you adopt
Willing and able to provide training, medical attention, and proper care for your new pet.
