Don’t let my senior status fool you—I’ve still got plenty of pep in my step and a playful spirit to share! Whether it’s a quick tussle with my favorite toy or a leisurely stroll, I’m always up for some fun and quality time with my favorite people. Speaking of people, I absolutely adore them! I’m a friendly little guy who thrives on love and attention. That said, I do get a bit excited on leash and might let out a bark or two to let the world know I’m here. I just can’t help being enthusiastic sometimes! I’d love a cozy home where I can spend my golden years surrounded by love. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a youthful heart, I’m your guy!

The Berkeley Humane difference!
Our adoption package includes vaccines, microchip, spay or neuter, flea/tick preventative, worm treatment, and heartworm preventative for dogs (at the discretion of the veterinarian). We also provide $250 worth of medical care with VCA Animal Hospitals, discounts and/or free first welcome visits at other local veterinary hospitals and optional discounted pet insurance.
All adopters receive a 30% discount off their first training class from Train the Bay. Berkeley Humane’s dog training program Train the Bay has been improving the lives of pets and their people for over 30 years and is one of the most trusted dog training programs in the Bay Area.
adoption requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have valid state-issued identification
- Allowed to have a pet where you live. To protect you and your pet, get your landlord's or HOA's permission in writing before you adopt
- Willing and able to provide training, medical attention, and proper care for your new pet.
