My Adoption Fee
Included with every adoption:
- Pre-adoption medical and behavioral evaluations
- Spay/neuter surgery, microchip, flea/tick/worm treatments, and up-to-date vaccines
- At the discretion of our vet, felv/fiv test for cats, and heartworm preventative for dogs.
- A temporary leash or carrier
- $250 worth of medical care with VCA Animal Hospitals
- 30 days of immediate pet insurance coverage (upon activation–no card required)
- 30% discount on dog training classes through our program Train the Bay

Hi, I’m Chewy!
I’m a handsome tabby looking for a low-key forever home. I’ll be honest: I spent the first several years of my life in very difficult conditions most people would never imagine (if you’re interested in knowing more, you can reach out to a member of the adoption team). Even still, I’m a remarkably resilient, loveable, and sociable boy who just wants to love and be loved. Since being in my warm and loving foster home, I’ve started to really blossom. I can be a little shy at first, but after a little time, I will warm right up. I love to be pet and brushed, and I’ll curl up next to you on the couch so we can watch movies together. And don’t let my age fool you — I have a playful side and love to chase after my favorite spring toys! When they end up stuck under the fridge, I’ll thoughtfully meow to alert my foster until she retrieves them for me. When I’m alone, I love to spend my time sleeping in sunbeams, warming my fluffy belly and looking out the windows. If you’re looking for a sweet kitty companion, I’m your guy. Great addition to any quiet home!
