I saw that the shelter is no longer open. Are there still ways to help out with animals?

Yes! We have several volunteer roles that involve working with our adoptable animals.

How old do you have to be to volunteer?

All volunteers must be at least 12 years of age. Volunteers 12-15 years old must volunteer with a parent/legal guardian in a 1:1 ratio. Volunteers over the age of 16 may volunteer independently but must have a parent/legal guardian sign the Volunteer Release Form.

My company wants to volunteer as a group. How do we set this up?

How can our company sponsor + volunteer for Berkeley Humane events?
