Our biggest annual adopt-a-thon and family-friendly street fair returns on Saturday, August 23, 2025!
This outdoor, free-to-attend event at 2700 Ninth St. Berkeley features hundreds of adoptable animals from shelters and rescues throughout the Bay Area, along with music, food and beer, pet and other vendors, and so much more.
This event welcomes adopters and all of our animal-loving community members to come together in support of shelter animals!

Save Shelter Animals
Hundreds of homeless dogs and cats get a second chance to meet their new families at this event. But for many, their journey to get here isn’t short or easy. Many need surgeries, medication, special food, time to heal, and gentle, loving care before they’re ready for adoption. You can make a life-saving donation to help animals like them get the chance of a lifetime.
Dog Training for Adopters
With 40+ years of experience helping Bay Area dogs and their families strengthen their bond, we have the training class for everyone! Adopters receive a discount code in their adoption package, so that bonding with your new pet is both fun, and affordable.
