Class Description
Building a foundation of basic trust and relationship skills using reward based training for all members of the family makes daily life safe and enjoyable for everyone. This class includes 4 in-person sessions at our training center with pre-class exercises taught by video. It is designed to build a solid training and relationship foundation to take you forward into intermediate and advanced levels. Training skills include engagement skills, leash walking, recall, sit, down, appropriate greeting behavior and using targets and platforms to develop focus and enrichment activities.
You will be able to ask questions in real time during live sessions and refer to the class handbook that is included for each week’ exercises as well as general training and management information.
Classes run 50 minutes to one hour. Each class session will have a lecture topic, demonstration and coaching. Some sessions will have additional support videos.
Class Requirements
For Class: A standard 6′ leash, secure collar or harness, training treats.
