Community Canine-CGCA

About the Class

After completing the  Canine Good Citizen certification, you and your dog are ready to do the Community Canine ( CGCA).  Dog/Handler Teams will be tested at the final class session in real life situations. This class will meet in a variety of locations during the 4 week session.

Class Requirements

For dogs that are 6 months old or older and  have passed the CGC test.  The class candidate is a dog and handler team that can work together in the presence everyday outdoor distractions. Dogs must have passed the Canine Good Citizen test and be registered with American Kennel Club to get the certificate. Registration in AKC is open to all dogs. You may enroll in this class without an AKC registration but will not be eligible to test until registration is completed.
