JULY Workshop-FREE, ONLINE: The Nose Knows: Scent Work for Fun
July 25, 3:00 PM, 60 minutes
What do you want your dog to find? Your cell phone, your keys, your kids? Or perhaps you are interested in the sport of scent work, where dogs find assigned odors. Their sense of smell is up to 100,000 times more acute than ours. Inspired by professional detection dogs, this activity teaches your dog to seek out and alert you to specific, hidden target scents. You can use everyday objects you have on hand and locations that you discover during outings with your dog. Tune in with us to learn how you can put your dog to work using the exceptional tools they come with.
Scent work provides a lot of fun and an outlet for something your dog wants to do while giving them new mental challenges.
Workshop Requirements:
You will need a computer, tablet or phone and a secure internet connection to join the workshop. We will open the workshop about 10 minutes before it is scheduled to begin.
