About the Class

Provide your puppy vital early socialization and help them develop basic manners and learn boundaries. Instructors will also help addresses early training issues. Our play groups are comprised only of puppies of all sizes. Puppy Kindergarten is recommended by The American Veterinary Medical Association and by the American Society of Veterinary Behaviorists. We also offer the American Kennel Club (AKC) STAR PUPPY program for dogs under one year in classes taught by our CGC Evaluators. Participation in the program is not required to take the class.

Class Requirements

Recommended for puppies 10-20 weeks old who will weigh under 25 pounds when full grown. They must have completed a minimum two doses of a basic distemper combination vaccine. Rabies vaccine is not required to attend class. Bring your dog(s) into class with a flat collar or front or back attaching harnesses and a 4 to 6 foot leash. Do not bring them in with a correction collars (choke, prong) or on retractable leashes. Your dog should be current with all core vaccinations.
