Kittens Have Landed

These kittens have wings! While some health mandates are starting to be lifted, shelters across the country are still experiencing limited capacity to care for pets in need – but we are determined to save more dogs and cats than ever before.

Every day we work with our local partners to transfer animals to Berkeley Humane for care, but this morning was even more special in that more than 50 kittens were flown to Santa Rosa Airport by private charter from Southern California.

Some of the kittens went to another area shelter and then we drove a dozen to our hospital for evaluation, treatment, and ongoing care until they are ready to go to find their new loving families.
