When a little brown dog named Snow White arrived at Berkeley Humane, she had a severely injured back leg and must have been in incredible pain. We don’t know how long she had been fending for herself on the streets or how the injury happened, but we knew she needed urgent care.
Our medical team wasted no time getting her into surgery, but the damage was too extensive, and her leg had to be amputated. As Snow White recovered, everyone became smitten with her sweet disposition. Now out of pain, she began to heal and thrive.
There are thousands of animals like Snow White in the Bay Area that need a second chance.
Unfortunately, inflation has made it more expensive than ever to care for pets. Our resources have been pushed to the limit, but we must always be ready to meet the demand. That’s why we desperately need your help today.
Your support of Berkeley Humane helps hurting animals find healing and happiness.
