Expanding Access to Veterinary Care in Berkeley

As Berkeley Humane continues building the Bay Area Animal Resource Center (BAARC), we remain deeply committed to serving pets and the people who love them, especially during this time of transition. To help ensure continued access to affordable veterinary care in Berkeley, we’re proud to partner with Vets in Vans, a nonprofit mobile veterinary clinic serving communities across the Bay Area.

Beginning March 23, 2026, Vets in Vans will operate out of Berkeley Humane’s Behavior & Training Facility two days per week, offering urgent care, surgeries, spay/neuter services, and more. While our Spay the Bay program continues to operate out of our Pinole location, this partnership helps bridge a critical gap in local veterinary services while our new facility is under construction.

WHAT: Affordable urgent care, surgeries, spay/neuter services, provided by Vets in Vans in partnership with Berkeley Humane

WHERE: 936 Carleton St. Berkeley (Berkeley Humane’s Behavior & Training Facility)

WHEN: Twice a week beginning March 23, 2026

Together, we are working to ensure that pets receive the care they need, and families have the support they deserve because access to care should never be out of reach. This is what community looks like.
