We like to check in with our animals and see how they are doing after being adopted from Berkeley Humane!

“We sadly lost a kitten to a rare disease last spring, so when we went to Berkeley Humane in June [2018] it was with an older cat in mind, a hearty, hale juvenile of maybe 1-2 years old. But a tiny baby floof, all alone in her cage, immediately reached out a mittened paw to our daughter as if to say, “I choose you!” We were helpless to resist.

Now a gorgeous (and giant!) 9-month old, Comet is the queen of the castle. Equal parts rambunctious and chill, she plays fetch with her mousie like a well-trained puppy, snuggles happily in the cardboard hideaway designed by her human sister, and entertains a legion of followers on her active Instagram account (@cometdangler). We can’t imagine our life without our sweet, crazy, beautiful girl!”
