We like to check in with our animals and see how they are doing after being adopted from Berkeley Humane!

“[She] was named “Little” at the shelter and volunteers had given her great compliments. She was voted shelter star! We had just bought our first house in 2009 and wanted a dog to go in it! Went to the shelter and saw this dog who was very aloof, barely acknowledged us on the visit.

The volunteers said she was calm, sweet and good on a leash so we came back and got her!! She was allegedly 4 then so she’d be 15 now.

She is still doing well, walks twice a day, hikes, plays with her friends at the beach, goes camping and snow hiking too. We just adore our Lita.”
