Teach your dog to turn their attention to you and away from anything exciting so that you can maintain social distancing.

Hey-Hey! In this quick video, Nancy Frensley, Training Manager at Berkeley Humane shares some helpful tips on how to maintain a minimum of 6 feet for safe social distancing while on a walk with your dog during the Covid 19 pandemic.

It’s easy and a good skill for you and your dog to have anytime!

Give it a try today! It may take a few practice sessions, but you can teach your dog to turn their attention to you and away from anything exciting so that you can maintain social distancing.

We need treats. Lots of treats!
Then, we need to be able to say “Hey Hey”.
Then, we need to have a dog!
