This class meets online BI-WEEKLY. class dates are: 3/15, 3/29, 4/12, 4/26, 5/10. On 3/29, the class will meet at 10 AM. You will need a 6' leash, a bag or large pocket for training food and a clicker. You may use a verbal marker if you prefer. Set up a space where your computer camera has a view of you and your dog working together. The pre class document will have more detail about the class, your supplies and video options. Evaluator: Nancy Frensley, CPDT.KA, CAP2, Evaluator: CGC, Trick Dog, Fit Dog, Scent Work Judge Submit the following to trainthebay@berkeleyhumane.org: The link to a video of your dog performing the tricks. The preferred formats are YouTube and Vimeo but links to cloud drives work well, also. After you register, you will receive a link to your video submission form along with instructions for recording and submitting your video. The Evaluator will review the video. Once the evaluator reviews and approves the video, you will receive a copy of the video verification form to confirming that the dog passed or did not pass the test. You will then need to submit the title application form and Video Verification Form (VVF) to AKC and obtain a Canine Pals or other AKC registration number with your verification form: http://images.akc.org/pdf/Trick_Dog_Title_Application.pdf

This class begins on Saturday June 14 from 4:30 pm until 6:15 PM and continues through July 5. This class will have 3 time slots (depending on the number enrolled) so that you will not have to wait a long time for your turn (dogs do individual searches with coaching). Time Slots are 430-5:00, 5:05 to 5:35 and 5:40 until 6:10. 2 dogs will be in each time period. If there are fewer than 6 students, timeslots will be adjusted accordingly.
